With the support of our parent company, Rockpoint Gas Storage (“Rockpoint”), and the Brookfield group of companies that we are so proud to be a part of, Access Gas has earned an excellent reputation as the industry leader in natural gas supply and portfolio management in Canada.

We are working hard to expand our product mix as well. We support Canada’s goal of net zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 2050 or sooner. We are working closely with Rockpoint and Brookfield Renewables to develop and market green energy solutions and support Brookfield’s Net-Zero Commitment.

Rockpoint Gas Storage played a key role in establishing the first major trading point for natural gas in Alberta, the AECO Hub. Rockpoint has been in operation for over 20 years and has grown to become the largest independent owner and operator of natural gas storage assets in North America.

Our 8 strategically located assets and more than 300 BCF of working gas capacity across North America along with offices in Ontario, Quebec, British Columbia, and Alberta make us a key part of the North American energy infrastructure.

Access Gas provides wholesale natural gas supply and portfolio management services to deregulated energy markets throughout Canada.

Rockpoint is owned by Brookfield Infrastructure Fund II and Brookfield Americas Infrastructure Fund, both of which are managed by Brookfield Asset Management (Brookfield). Brookfield is a leading asset manager with over $575 billion in long-life, high-quality assets and businesses in more than 20 countries around the world. Rockpoint manages and operates Brookfield’s natural gas storage asset portfolio.
