Customer Choice was developed by Terasen Gas in association with the British Columbia Utilities Commission (BCUC). British Columbia's Customer Choice Program has given consumers the opportunity to source their natural gas supply directly on the open market through an independent gas marketer. Access Gas purchases large quantities of natural gas from producers under bulk long-term, fixed price supply agreements to service our aggregate customer base in British Columbia. 

Similar programs have been implemented in many provinces and states across North America and have proven to be very successful. British Columbia's commercial customers have been participating in this program since 2004.
